On Tuesday, July 23, Anita joined the Rotary Club of Elk Rapids. She was inducted right after she served a remarkable thalli (medley of Indian food) at our Rotary Social.
Anita Jogi hails from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She lives in Elk Rapids with her husband, Divyang Chunchha, who is a Rotarian and the pharmacist at Corner Drugs, and two children, Rishabh and Mira.
"I learned to cook from my mother in Ahmedabad, India." says Anita. "My hometown has amazing street food that has a combination of history, tradition, and flavor. The restaurants there have the best vegetarian food in the world. Now I enjoy sharing my fresh-made, authentic Indian food delights here in northern Michigan."
