President's Message
Thank you to Sherry Steffen for again working to put on a very nice social event at Pearl's last week. The company was good, the friendships warm, and the food was down right spicy, which is as I like it!

The staff at Pearl's did a great job as always, and in the end it was hard to leave back into the frigid night. We'll look forward to the next one, which will be in April.

Change in Committee Report Format
Morning Meeting Chairman Ed has made an adjustment to the meeting format, and now instead of very brief committee reports from each committee every Tuesday, he's asking just two committees for more indepth reports weekly. It sparked some good conversation at the 2/11 meeting, and will likely again this week.

75th Year Anniversary Party
Plans are underway for a celebration of our club's 75th anniversary, tentatively set for 6/9 at the Elk Rapids Marina in the evening. More to come as the plans are firmed up, but save the date. You only turn 75 once!

Scholarship Applications
Sherry worked tirelessly while Terry helped to post updated applications on our website to apply:
  • to attend
  • for a scholarship from our club.
If you know of students who would qualify and benefit from attending, please help them get the forms and fill them out.
Life Leadership Conf.

Prospective attendees of the 2025 LLC are encouraged to download the forms and get registered for the event. The Registration and Consent forms are both due by May 14. Goal: 140 students can attend.
