First Presbyterian Church
As Nancy Wonch stressed recently, "Rotarians want to learn, to socialize and also to be charitable."  This fiscal year, your Rotary Board, has tried to provide opportunities for you to engage in all three of these areas.
On Tuesday, March 19, our meeting will feature a panel of representatives on The Opioid Crisis in Northern Michigan.  Joining us to discuss the problems facing our communities and what is being done are Antrim County Sheriff, Kevin Hoch, and representative from Harm Reduction Michigan,  Lou Gamalski.  Harm Reduction Michigan is a community-based nonprofit with several locations across Michigan.  They provide services to help reduce substance use related harms to those who use drugs and/or alcohol, their families and our communities, while also encouraging and providing access to treatment and recovery. Is Naloxone a part of your first aid kit?  Nasal Naloxone kits will be available for all attendees.  Please make certain that you register for the meeting.  Carol Hockin, will introduce the panel.
