The Rotary Club of Elk Rapids
Next Meeting
November 28, at 7 am
First Presbyterian Church in Elk Rapids
Our Tuesday morning meeting will feature our own Terry Miller to speak about Rotary's Public Image.  Hopefully, Terry will also give us a briefing on his background.  I'm not sure where his degree in "HUMOR" comes from, but it is much appreciated.

Rotary is gearing up for a delightful December complete with 3 gatherings, two of which are zoomable, thanks to Jim Nothoff.

Carol Hockin reports that many Rotarians came forward on November 20 to assist in putting together 98 Thanksgiving Meals for those less fortunate.  This was a wonderful community service event that Rotarians should feel good about.

Christmas Auction at HERTH
It is official!  Santa and the Mrs. are prepping the sleigh and looking at our list of Rotarians who have been really, really good as well as those on the naughty list.
The invitation to dinner  was in your email, and there is still time to sign up. Be sure to send in your RSVP.  It will be a fun and festive evening with Rotarians, friends of Rotary and any guests you wish to bring.  This is a charity auction that will provide funding for several of our local organizations.

Volunteer Bell Ringers Needed!
A big thank you to Larry Kraus for organizing the Salvation Army Bell Ringers for November.  The first week of December is also covered; however a coordinator for the balance of December is needed.  Please let us know if you are willing to assume this task.
