President's Message
After a few weeks hiatus from meetings, it was fun to reconnect with other club members at this week's meeting. I have wanted to emphasize the club aspect somewhat this year, and remember that there's a social component to our club's purpose. This week was again proof that by nature we are a gregarious and engaging bunch, and in a few cases even bordering on entertaining! Thank you to those who braved the cold, dark, and snowy roads. I think it's worth it, and I look forward to seeing everyone.

Good Works Committee Meeting
The GW Committee will meet next Tuesday after skipping a December meeting, and one item will be a request from the Robotics Team at ERHS for annual funding for their projects.

Red Kettle Report
Our own Rev. Jim Porter will be the presentation for the Jan. 21th meeting. How well do you think you know Jim? I'm sure we're going to learn things about Jim that we didn't know, and perhaps find more shared interests as well. We're looking forward to it!

ACTS Funding
During the Tuesday meeting Carol Hockins thanked the club for her organization's share of the proceeds from our Christmas Auction. According to Carol, our donation will about cover what she spends in a week for food for the food pantry, so it's great to see an immediate impact from everyone's generosity.

501C3 Update
Nancy Wonch has submitted our paperwork for the tax exempt, 501C3 fundraising arm that we've been looking for, and now we're waiting to hear from the government that the new entity has been granted that status. We're almost there! Thank you Nancy for all of your hard work on this.
